Work Night Monday – The Big Clean Up

We run an exciting and busy programme from our hut all year round and your help is imperative in keeping the hut and grounds in a tip-top condition to ensure safe use for all.

Leaders will be running activities outside for the Beavers and Scouts on Monday whilst parents get stuck in, so please leave your Cub at home if helping on the Monday.
Cubs will be meeting at the allotment on the Tuesday, so parents are encouraged to drop off and then head to the hut – we will walk the Cubs back to the hut for 8pm.

A sign up sheet will be up in the hut for the specific jobs, or drop Jean or myself a message to let us know what you can do.

Jobs we really need help with this year are:

•Folding raffle tickets
•General cleaning in the hut
•Putting together a log store
•Chopping logs
•Sorting the resource cupboard
•Tents – organising and storing
•Painting the exterior of the hut
•Cutting back the tree branches and hedge around the grass
•Loading trailer and a Tip run

If you can offer your assistance with the above, but are not able to make the designated day, please message us to arrange a time that would work for you, as your assistance would be immensely appreciated.
